Noah, stoking the fire, using the wood and charred paper I put in there earlier that never actually caught: What are the three things you have to have to make fire?
Me: Water...
Noah: ...
Me: Not water. I don't know why I said that. Um, tinder.
Noah: Yes, but a more generic term would be...
Me: Wood.
Noah: ...fuel.
Me: Number two, oxygen.
Noah: Yes, oxygen. And finally...
Me: Electricity. The spark of Zeus. A lighting strike?
Noah: Or,
heat.

Don't be sad, I failed out of Girl Scouts too. Or quit, after I learned that Brownies is just the name, not their mascot/snack at every meeting.
Jenn—I quit after I learned all we did was make stuff out of popsicle sticks and assign chores for the camping trip.
I love how patiently pedantic Noah sounds :)
No. I'm totally with you. I want the spark of Zeus to light my fire.
Come on, baby, light my fire? Hmm. A little too familiar.
Also, I didn't make it past Brownies. I think I was somewhat mostly disappointed that Brownies didn't actually INCLUDE brownies.
