I got my nose pierced last Wednesday.
At Albatross Tattoo. I highly recommend the place, although I can't speak to the tattooing. Yet. (Haha! Just kidding, Mom!)
Even though I've been married for nearly six years and have had a mortgage for three of those, I was still afraid of showing my parents my new piercing.
Scene: Last Thursday morning.
Me: Look! [emphasizes nose area with jaunty head tilt]
Dad: ...
Mom: That's not real is it?
Me: Yeah it is.
Mom: Is not.
Me: Yes, it is. [tilts head back so she can look up my nostril]
Dad: Why?
Me: Because I'm artsy.
Nanny: I thought it was a spot gone peculiar.
All in all, a pretty good reception.

I LOVE IT. Totally suits you, doll.
And I still get nervous about showing the 'rents a new tattoo. Weird, that.
Ha! "spot gone peculiar" That's your Mom, keeping it real...
I think it looks good on you......personally wouldn't do it, to chicken. I've wanted a tattoo before, but never went there either. Your nanny is so funny, I can hear her saying that.:)

A "spot gone peculiar". I love that line!
So how does it work? How does it stay in. Is there a magnet on the inside of your nose? A post like and earring? Does it hurt??? I have so many questions!
Hmmmm ... love the piercing on you! Let me know what you think of their tattoo abilities; Stu and I are on the lookout for a studio up here.

Very cute! What's there to be nervous about? It looks great!
It looks really pretty on you!
Nothing could mar your beauty, except maybe a tongue ring, or an eyebrow ring, or a belly button ring or...
Seriously it only enhances your beautiful face. I love it. Not so sure about Papa.Love, Paca
Hawt!
And I have a number of those "spots gone peculiar"...and up until the day my grandmother passed away I hid them from her...forget the fact I was 30-years-old!
U rebel. Wait until Noah gets to do some covert assignments and grunges out.
Love it. I had mine pierced for a while till I had to take it out for work. Super cute on you!
That's it. Nanny's my new best friend.
I've had two nose rings and counting. You just never know when I'll go for a third.
Also? You totally rock it.
i LOVE it! i used to have mine pierced but had to take it out for a summer job in college...then got it pierced again and had to take it out for knee surgery. i swear one day when i'm a famous non-starving artist, i will get it done again.
and when my parents saw it, dad asked me if i had a nail in my nose.
