I've had a face lift. Well, the virtual "me" anyway. What say you to the new Fierce Beagle design? (If you're reading this on Facebook or in feed reader, click through to www.fiercebeagle.com to see the eye candy.)
Please be patient as we work out the kinks (and as I add content to my nav buttons), but I'd like to pause here for a quick ode.
Manning Leonard Krull. I discovered Manning through Stephanie Perkins, a YA writer whose blog template is amazing. Click here to check it out. It turns out the man behind the magic was Manning Leonard Krull, an American in Paris. For real. And as a pseudo francophile—did I mention that I minored in French?—I couldn't help but consider the fact that Manning lives in Paris evidence of good juju.
I don't want to sound infomercially—He has lots of skills! Watch how he animates AND writes code!—so instead I'll say that Manning is the kind of person I want to be friends with, and I hope one day to meet him. The fact that he put up with my highly unprofessional e-jokes (that's jokes through email, and yes I just made it up) and pretend-code jokes (such as [/singing]) without running for the hills is an added bonus.
Go on, patronize him. In the pecuniary sense, of course.

Cute! I like it...there's not enough navy in the blogospher, IMHO. :) And the new masthead rocks. Yay!
it took me a while to realize it was all sparkly...shiny...I like it!
Ooh! I love the blingy header! The new look is GORGEOUS. Congratulations!
Also, guess who else minored in French. Moi! C'est vrai!
I love it! Very nice!
Oooh! Love the sparkle!
Ok I'm going to repeat everyone and say I LOVE THE SPARKLES! (and not just because it reminds me of you-know-who) :) Love it!
Damn, girl, it looks AMAZING!
I love it. It twinkles! Looks great and I minored in French aussi!!
TNR—You know, I'm a sucker for the deep hues.
Dori—That's what we were going for: subtle glitz. Also, was that "shiny" in Firefly usage?
May—We should get together and have minor French conversations!
Damsel—Why thank you!
Costume Diva—Might you call it an "embellishment"?
Jen—Dude, I so didn't even think of that. ADDED BONUS.
Sal—I'm rubber, you're glue.
Lisa—You should join May and I in our minor French conversations. Manning, will you host?
Very sparkly.
I think it's unanimous: the sparkle is fabulous. Love the new look!
Um, I don't know what pecuniary means. You've officially gone over my head. But I raised you so good.
Lisa
I love it! It looks so professional!
Snazzy-nicely done.
Ooooo so shiny! Very nice. Me likey.
Someone above already mentioned this, but I do not know what pecuniary means either, and it's a little worrying as it's referring to something that people may do to me.
(Thanks for all those wonderful comments about the design, everybody!)
(Also, I'd be happy to practice French with anybody, if you don't mind accidentally learning a lot of impolite slang.)

Oooooooh! Aaaaaaah! Much love the new look.
Jeez louise. Pecuniary = having to do with money. Dinero. Clams. Cheese.
I'm sorry, I was distracted from your wit by that blingy header. I am always distracted by sparkly beautiful things. But I promise I won't let that happen again. I'm so very jealous. I want virtual bloggy bling too. Where do I sign up ?
:-)
It looks awesome! Congrats!
I like how the name sparkles. Very captivating!
Oh, I love it!!!
I'm just now getting around to visiting your newly remodeled blog. Wow! I'm inspired to re-do my own very plain blog. But, of course, it will sit at the bottom of my to-do list, right below "Start training for the big walk." Anyway, I love the new look.
