Yesterday, my parents closed on their new house.
After congratulating them, I
attempted to drag their mattress to their house with my bare hands asked what the plan was for moving out of our house and into theirs. What with this weekend's
impending doom projected snowstorm, we'll have to hunker down and enjoy a marathon of
Lost Season 5 in anticipation of the final season (3 DAYS, PEOPLE), and leave the moving until next weekend.
Elsewhere, some of my cousins in Belfast were VICTIMIZED last week, and I'm determined to show my support by spreading the word:
Also, I realize you're all *dying* to know who my TV crushes are. Hop on over to
Secret Society of List Addicts to sate your voyeuristic curiosity.

f'it shows up in Fife I'll let you know. And I'd heve killed either myself or my parents living together so long, congratulations on the lack of homocide!
I'm a afraid to "WOO HOO!" it up too much because I know your mom is a reader. And commenter. And I don't want to incur the wrath of ANYONE'S mom.
It looks like a beautiful home with a great backyard, by the look of all those trees. I just don't know how they are going to deal without our beautiful Chicago winters. (High of 15 today.)
Catherine—Thanks, doll!
Sal—Very wise, very wise.
thewarriorpoets—Don't guffaw, but we actually are about to get hit with a major snowstorm and cold front. Coincidence that NC's coldest winter in recent years has been this one? I think not.
3 days till Lost, OMG! I can see by your list that you are a "Jack" girl. I, myself, am a "Sawyer" gal. Those dimples! Eric says its a nod to my past "thing for southern assholes". Well I cant argue.
I too am eagerly looking forward to LOST!!! My hubby has no clue what's going on since he stopped watching before Season 3, but a few of my family members are still as captivated as I am. They better just answer all the questions with this final season!
Oh, and LOVE your parent's new house.
Hey, there's nothing wrong in dragging their mattress over to their new house. Very helpful! The problem is when you're dragging the mattress to the new house, and they wake up in the middle of said dragging.
Awkward... ;)
Congrats to the parents--looks like a nice place. Also, sorry about the crime victims in Ireland. That is never a fun experience.
With the car being found after so called 'joyriders' had a wee run around in it and got it stuck in a farmer's field (that's not a cow!)your support via Fierce Beagle is much appreciated! Love to all Maurice & Sue xx
