On the advice of counsel, I claim to have no recollection of this
My parents have found a veritable treasure trove of stuff while packing up their house. This is just the tip of the iceberg.

My parents got a simular note, and when I had to explain why, it was because I put tape on a boy's arm, a boy I liked, and ripped it off. Funny? Funny? Huh, dad did not find it funny.
OMG that is so timely - we just had 'back to school' night and I was appalled to find Evie had only one sticker on her 'good behavior' chart. The next to lowest kid had 3 - some had 13! She said she's been squirming and talking (of course, it's other kids' fault). Ugh.
How funny! Apparently I was a daydreamer in first grade. My mom & Mrs. Maxwell had a nice cry about the necessity of slapping my hand with a ruler to bring me back to earth...
HAHAHA! Don't you love when those little memories pop up? I once came across an old note my mother wrote for me in high school. Oh, I was horrified she'd force me to use it. She could be so wicked sometimes. It said that I was absent from school the previous day because of, "really bad cramps and bloating!"
Talking at inappropriate times? Can't wait to spend a week on the trail with you! I have a feeling there will be countless inappropriate times with the crew Dan's assembled.

Good stuff. I failed using scissors in first grade.
Too funny, yet somehow, not too hard to imagine.

I think Idaho Dad is spot on, perhaps we need to create a form to log mischief.
Can I just point out that you were in elementary school as I was birthing Kate? So you really could be my daughter. I don't like this at all.
And no wonder SOMEBODY had to teach you "please," "excuse me," and "thank you."
HAHAHA
I had the daydreaming problem too. Also I got a C in penmanship. Yes, they graded that back then.
Losers! I give you, the Internet!
