Never underestimate your mother just because she uses the word "beautifulest"

Since the elections, I’ve been astounded by my mom’s political awareness. I guess I always assumed she didn’t care that much because 1) she always said she couldn’t be bothered; 2) she’s been an American for fewer years than I have; and 3) she claimed to have crossed her fingers when denouncing the queen at her citizenship ceremony.

Lately, though, she's been sending me up-to-the-minute newsflashes, complete with commentary and analysis.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't be surprised if she got a call from CNBC, looking for their next Money Honey.

Actually him and his Chief of Staff. Not completely confirmed yet but they're hinting at illegal fund raising. Apparently they have been watching him for about 12 months and this is something fairly recent (what an idiot). I always thought his eyes were too close together!
